Housing

With a clearer vision of the façade design, the idea was implemented to use main doors in various tones, inspired by a color palette from Mayan culture. Exposed concrete was used both inside and outside to evoke the sensation of being within a ruin. Additionally, materials like latticework, steel, and wood were incorporated into the façades to enhance the overall design.

The façade design drew inspiration from the concept used in the shopping center, featuring thick and tall frames to create a play of volumes and heights. Openings in the slabs were designed to simulate cenotes. Subtle tones, like exposed concrete, were selected to avoid overwhelming the design, letting the natural flora, both existing and integrated into the project, take center stage.

Restaurant

The current focus is on designing the restaurant located at the highest level of the complex. The goal is to provide panoramic views throughout, especially on the terraces, both at the entrance and at the rear, where diners will sit. Access will be via elevators and stairs, leading to a spacious lobby featuring a lounge area and a small island with souvenirs. From there, the dining area will have a large wall with perforations, allowing views of the central space. Three walls will surround the central area to emphasize its importance and create intimate or separated spaces at the ends. The rear terraces will offer views of the large interior plaza and a direct line of sight to the outdoor stage, where musical events will be held.

A round hallway will be designed in the center, providing quick access to all areas from the lobby. The interior will feature six-person tables, while four-person wall tables will be placed on the exterior terrace to optimize space and offer better views near the railing. The rear section will have large open windows to appreciate the landscape, with only two large columns separating the interior from the exterior. The kitchen will be connected to the bar area to streamline service.
