Re-tracing of architectural floor plans for Xaman & Nojol Otoch

The floor plan tracings of the 24 base prototypes of single-family homes, consisting of one level, were updated to include the necessary areas for a proper quality of life. By re-tracing, I refer to correcting the current plan drawings into a representation ready for printing and editing in Photoshop. Line qualities, furniture, vegetation, and layer groups were adjusted and unified lines were corrected for better functionality in drawing and design. Minor modifications were also made in certain areas for improved functionality.

The purpose of this new tracing was to be able to combine each base prototype to create different blocks or neighborhoods, each with 8 different models. Finally, 24 individual PDFs were generated for each unit and one PDF of a block design for post-production in Photoshop.

The editing in Photoshop was done to better visualize and in a slightly more realistic way the selection of materials and colors being proposed.

Render Modification / Main Entrance:

Certain elements of the current render of the main entrance were modified to better define specific materials such as the vehicular and pedestrian pavement. Additional vegetation was added to convey the green concept present throughout the complex. Some lighting details were corrected, and irrelevant models were removed to make the perspective more realistic and suitable for use on the complex’s web pages.

Second Proposal Of Editing In The Lotting Of The Complex:

A new proposal was made for how the representation would look when selecting your preferred lot in the complex on the website. The goal was to represent the available lots for construction more realistically and distinguish them from buildings with an established use, as well as parks and lakes, accompanied by more realistic vegetation around them.

The previous proposal differentiated each section better due to the various colors used, but it also worked against it because of how overwhelming and unrealistic it could appear at first glance. In the new proposal, the significant green footprint that we are preserving and providing before being developed by the various family constructions is better interpreted.

The name of the complex was added in the background along with the symbol indicating the north orientation of the project. Additionally, a small site plan was made to showcase more of the land not activated in this design stage.

Redesign And Drafting Of Architectural Plans Of The Hotel:

The current hotel plans are being updated, where layers and line types are being corrected, vegetation and furniture are being added, but above all, certain areas and spaces are being redefined for the best functionality of the project, as the previous design was somewhat lacking in providing correct dimensions and useful spaces for future residents.

A base model was created, without going into deep detail, to analyze the volumetry and heights of the project to improve its appeal and spatial quality.
