Among the amenities proposed in the development are the schools, specifically primary and secondary. These schools are being designed based on the concept guiding the overall project. An estimate of the number of children was calculated to determine the capacity that the schools will need to accommodate.
It is proposed to have a greater number of classrooms to ensure a specific number of children in each, allowing for more effective attention to each student. The plan is to have a maximum of 20 to 25 children per classroom, ensuring that the time spent with each student is productive.
As an initial plan, the primary school includes 18 classrooms, covering grades 1 through 6, with 4 classrooms per grade. There is an administrative office that includes accounting, school control, archives, and human resources, as well as a principal’s office, a medical room, a counselor and psychologist, a cafeteria with dining areas, a library, a teacher’s lounge, multi-purpose rooms, and a courtyard with multisport courts. Additionally, there is a playground area for the younger children.
In the secondary school, there are 12 classrooms, covering grades 1 through 3, with 4 classrooms per grade. The administrative office includes areas for accounting, school control, archives, and human resources, as well as a principal’s office, medical room, counselor and psychologist, a courtyard with multisport courts, a cafeteria with dining areas, a teacher’s lounge, and a library.
Among the complementary areas considered essential for both schools, a greenhouse is proposed to educate children about agriculture and environmental care, which aligns with one of the core concepts of the project. Additionally, there will be a pool area with workshops and changing rooms, sports courts for physical activities to promote children’s health by keeping them active, and a sizable auditorium for educational activities focused on culture and the arts.
