HOUSING
As part of the ongoing progress, work has focused on defining the footprint of the residential space in the city center. Eight housing design proposals were developed, based on four different lot sizes: 8 x 30 m, 10 x 30 m, 12 x 30 m, and 15 x 30 m. These designs were created according to the needs discussed by the team, with one exception that was tailored to a specific client’s requirements.
The designs considered a variety of spaces, including 1 to 3 bedrooms depending on the layout, a kitchen with a pantry, dining room, living room, laundry area, full bathrooms for the bedrooms, half-bathrooms, storage space, a garage for at least 2 cars, and amenity spaces like a pool or water features. Interior patios were also included to enhance natural lighting and ventilation, creating cooler and more comfortable living environments.
With the footprints defined, the next step is to model the houses in order to finalize the façade design and material selection. The current plan is to use stone, stucco, latticework, steel, and integrate flora for landscaping and overall comfort.
The design of the models is being refined as the project progresses, incorporating daily feedback to ensure a well-supported and clearly defined project.
TOWN CENTER
The recent progress has concentrated on the central part of the commercial complex, where lobbies are planned for accessing offices on both the ground and first levels, leading into the interior plaza of the complex.
Upon entering, two wide staircases on both sides lead to the first two office modules, with a central garden as the visual focal point. In the background, a curved wall houses the elevators and stairs, which lead to the first level with additional office spaces and to the third level where the restaurant is located. Beyond the curved wall, there is a second circular, double-height lobby, designed to offer natural light and ventilation to the adjacent service areas. Finally, after passing through both lobbies, access to the interior plaza is provided.
To create a pedestrian-friendly space free of vehicles, the entrances to both parking lots were designed laterally, allowing pedestrians to move freely toward the roundabout, which acts as a central axis leading to the hotel.
